SINOPSIS
La directora indaga en los vínculos entre los hombres de su familia y se pregunta por las herencias de ese linaje masculino. ¿Qué fueron cargando de generación en generación y qué no se animaron a hablar? Esto la lleva a preguntarse por lo que sucede fuera de su familia. Entrevista a distintos hombres y conoce a Bicho, Andrés y Emmanuel, varones que buscan su camino personal lejos de lo que se espera de ellos. ¿Qué es ser varón para ellos? ¿Qué tuvieron que pasar y que tuvieron que dejar atrás para serlo? Con historias y orígenes muy distintos entre sí, quizás haya más puntos de encuentro de lo que imaginan
The director investigates the links between the men in her family and wonders about the inheritance of that male lineage. What were they carrying from generation to generation and what did they not dare to speak? This leads her to wonder what happens outside of her family. She interviews different men and she meets Bicho, Andrés and Emmanuel, men who seek their personal path away from what is expected of them. What is being a man to them? What did they have to go through and what did they have to leave behind to be? With very different histories and origins, there may be more meeting points than you imagine
BIOFILMOGRAFÍA
Lucía Lubarsky es directora, guionista, productora y poeta. Finalizó su primer documental “El silencio de los hombres” con apoyo del INCAA. Dirigió la serie documental “Nosotras” estrenada en TV Pública y CONT.AR. Dirigió los cortometrajes “Instantáneas”, “Mujeres del Ajusco”, “Morir en Varanasi” y “Estar Viva”. Los últimos tres se exhibieron en el Festival de Cine de Mar del Plata.
