SINOPSIS
Tras largo tiempo atrapado en los glaciares de la Patagonia, el fantasma del camarógrafo Lucien Le Saint se libera. Despistado, sigue el mismo trayecto que recorrió en carne y hueso hace un siglo, deteniéndose en los territorios donde alguna vez filmó a los pueblos Kawésqar y Yagán. En este viaje se encuentra con los nuevos habitantes de una sociedad tecnocrática y con los vestigios de un pasado indígena.
After a long time trapped in the glaciers of Patagonia, the ghost of cameraman Lucien Le Saint is released. Clueless, he follows the same path that he traveled in the flesh a century ago, stopping in the territories where he once filmed the Kawésqar and Yagán peoples. On this trip he meets the new inhabitants of a technocratic society and the vestiges of an indigenous past.
BIOFILMOGRAFÍA
Dirigió y escribió el cortometraje “Fiebre Austral” estrenado en La Biennale di Venezia 76, participó del Festival de Cine de Toronto y obtuvo una mención especial en la competencia NEST del Festival de San Sebastián. Fue director de fotografía de “El Verano Del León Eléctrico”, cortometraje ganador de la Cinéfondation del Festival de Cannes 2018. Thomas es Locarno Filmmakers Academy 2022 alumni.
